Happy 2012!
This year I’m making some much needed changes. I took all of 2011 to think it through and have decided that shooting weddings for the past eleven years has been a wonderful experience, but as of this year I will officially no longer be shooting weddings. Instead I am focusing on portraits and other work. The main reason for this is wanting more time with my family, if you’d like more details I’m more than happy to chat about it 
I’m also saying goodbye to milk & honey studio. Seven years ago I had my first born. As many women do I lost my identity personally and professionally, so I took shelter under milk & honey. Using my name is me taking back something I’ve been missing for a while.
When I started shooting back in 1998, it was only with black and white film. While I’ve continued to use film, the black and white usage has dwindled and I miss it dearly, so you’ll be seeing more of that in my personal work and hopefully in other work as well…who’s up for black and white portraits
Lastly, I’ve been sick with bronchitis for a month now, but I’m currently kicking it’s ass! As I emerge out of this bog of sickness, I’m ready to shoot more and post more. So, I’ll hope you’ll stick around and enjoy what this year will bring.
