We all took the day off and decided to celebrate Mardi Gras on Olvera Street yesterday. It wasn’t exactly what we expected, but getting out together for some family time was great and much needed. We followed it with a trip up Angel’s Flight and a picnic at Angel’s Knoll Park. Such a perfect day.
Telling you how much I love you and all the things you mean to me wouldn’t be different from any other day, so to make today special I’ve decided to publicly declare it across the interwebs.
You are my best friend, most honest critic, and biggest fan. Though I may not always admit it because you and I are a prideful stubborn duo, I look to you for inspiration and motivation, and take comfort in the love you show me and the kids everyday. After nine years together I regret nothing, and continue to make big plans for our life that may or may not come to fruition, knowing either way we’ll have fun trying. After nine years, I’m still this happy to be with you….
